FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
How is Winterglads different?
I believe it is the small things that count We are passionate about two things. Quality produce and excellence in service. If we consistently get these two right we will exceed our competitors
Do you sell retail and wholesale?
What is the minimum order?
There is no minimum order Flowers that are sent via courier are generally charged by the box and so it is most cost effective to fill up at least one box, per order, to minimise transport costs. We can liaise with florists to let them know if there is room in the box so they get maximum efficiency.
Please explain the price list to me.
The price lists we have provided on this Website are for standing orders. In other words, the prices are for those clients that open an account with us and order from us on a regular basis. If you would like to order flowers from us one time or rarely, please contact us for a different price list. Our regular customers get preferential prices and get priority when produce is in short supply.
What is the advantage of opening an account with you?
We see ourselves as a part of the florist’s success. Your success is our success and hence we are committed to servicing our account holders to the best of our ability to ensure their success. As I said, if the florist succeeds and runs profitably that is inevitably passed onto us in increased sales. You win – we win. That’s what it is all about…long term sustainable profits for both of us.
Why do some flower companies not charge shipping?
There´s no such thing as “free shipping.” They cover their costs in other areas. We believe it´s only fair that we charge shipping according to the final destination. This keeps our base flower prices low and our customers happy.
How do you ship the flowers?
We have a good network of couriers. These include: -
- Australian Air
- Virgin Air
- Tamex
- Fastways
- Lindsay transport
- G and M transport
We will work out the most cost effective method to get flowers delivered to you.
How can I pay?
All accounts are strictly 30 day accounts. We believe this gives the florist plenty of time to sell the flowers and get payment so that we can be paid on time. This is an essential part of our business as we pride ourselves on paying our farmers promptly . This in turn gets us to be a preferred buyer to the farmers and again we have a win – win outcome.
When should I place my order?
Orders need to be placed by 8.30 am to be packed the same day. Orders that come in later than this may miss the courier pick up deadline.
What color roses do you have available?
We have a very large variety of roses available, please feel free to call us.
How do I take care of the flowers when they arrive?
